As part of the North Texas Area of Christian Churches, Disciples of Christ, there are three camps especially for elementary aged children and younger. All camps are at Disciples Crossing, Athens, Texas. These camps offer group building and outdoor activities in a Christian setting in beautiful East Texas. Worship is a part of each day and each child (and adult) is treated as a child of God. These camps provide early camping experiences and serve as an introduction to our youth camp and conference ministry.
Grandcamp – a weekend camp for children age 4-10 (with a grandparent)
Discovery Camp – a weekend camp for children who have completed 2nd or 3rd grade (with a parent or other adult)
JYF Camp – a five day camp for children who have completed 4th or 5th grade
