To raise money for mission, and for awesome-yet-expensive activities, youth work and serve at Creekwood and in the world. Youth are often staffed in the kitchen to prepare and serve (and charge for) food at fellowship events; they serve as runners and judges for the annual trivia night, and donate items, services or products for the Youth Auction Extravaganza, which they also work. Youth maintain a presence and character at church events, and have fun doing it.

Outside the church, many youth actively participate in work days and Service Saturdays—sorting shoes at the Buckner Shoe Warehouse, sorting food at the Christian Community Action pantry, picking up trash in creeks in Lewisville. Opportunities abound, and we rise to the challenge.



Sometimes, the best thing to do is go paintballing. Or bowling. Or to thrift stores in search for the ugliest shirts ever made. Or to a snow cone place. Or to play ultimate Frisbee. Sometimes, the best thing to do is build community and just goof. It happens, and it’s a good thing.
